The purpose of this site is to help Canadian Shellfish farmers produce high quality shellfish products by providing access to information resources regarding shellfish quality and safety.

This site provides information on shellfish safety including shellfish safety concepts, sanitation, regulatory programs, on-farm food safety and acts as a portal to web resources on the internet.

Originally designed to complement an On-Farm Food Safety program for Canadian farmed shellfish sponsored by the Canadian Aquaculture Industry Alliance, this site has been updated, redesigned and is hosted and maintained by the Blue Revolution Consulting Group.
